This is my first experience of selling a home in Canberra. I had 5 real estate agents come to see me and Maria was the last of these. She was recommended to me by a friend, and I found her approachable and respectful, and I signed. Maria obviously knows how to do her job. I think she got me a price that I doubt any other agent could have equaled. How she did this I am not exactly sure - I think she works very hard behind the scenes to establish relationships, encourage people to come to the auction and motivate them to bid. The price I got for my house was astonishing. It was the most expensive piece of real estate to be sold/bought in Canberra that weekend. Being a bit apprehensive I would have welcomed a bit more information and updates along the way but when Maria did call me she gave me all the information i needed and allayed my fears. So overall she was great; she did a fantastic job. No doubt about it.
