Australian singer, stage performer and television presenter, David Campbell is set to pull heart strings in Canberra at the National Gallery on Saturday 20 May at the Heart Foundation Gala Dinner that will raise vital funds to support heart attack survivors.

Heart Foundation ACT CEO said the event, hosted by Maria Selleck Properties in conjunction with Realestate.com.au and Canberra Weekly, will be a night full of surprises that’s not to be missed.

“We can’t thank Maria Selleck Properties enough for choosing the Heart Foundation. This wonderful event will help support heart attack survivors in Canberra.

“The funds raised from the Gala Dinner will be put towards the launch of a new Heart Attack Survivor Support Program that provides heart attack survivors and their carers help and support during the first-year post-heart attack.

“We want to help survivors feel empowered, supported, connected and understood,” Mr Stubbs said.

Maria Selleck, Principal at Maria Selleck Properties said the Heart Foundation’s cause was so close to her heart.

“Family is everything to me.  I saw my father suffer because of heart disease and it’s something I wish no other family to experience. So, after deciding it was time to give back to the community significantly following years of our continued support, it was this charity that really stood out,” said Ms Selleck.

The Canberra Community is invited along for a spectacular evening of great entertainment from the likes of Allan Pease and crooner David Campbell, and delicious food, whilst raising money for a worthy cause, the Heart Foundation.

“More than 54,000 Australians suffer a heart attack each year, that’s one heart attack every 10 minutes.  Sadly, 23 people will lose their life to a heart attack every single day.

“Funds raised at the Gala Dinner will help in making a significant difference to the lives of heart attack survivors by providing them with the tools and information to get back to health in as quick a time as possible and also help to avoid a repeat event,” Mr Stubbs said.
