It is very pleasing to have an opportunity to write a testimonial for Maria Selleck.
Before contacting Marla we frequented the exhibitions that she had organised. We saw her thorough, professional, friendly and convincing style. Among all the Real Estate Agents, we decided that if we are to sell our house, then it will be Maria who will be entrusted with it.
When Maria established her own Real Estate Agency, we made the decision to sell our house and invited Maria to take up the task.
Marla's handling of this undertaking has been remarkable. Ms Selleck handled the task with extreme professionalism. She discussed with us every detail. She clarified all necessary expenses. She advised on suitable presentation arrangements. And very importantly she has been very honest and did not give us wild or false expectations for the price of the house. She impressed us with her deep understanding of the market and its expectations.
Maria worked very hard in order to make every exhibition a success. She tried her best to accommodate to our convenient times and gave us immediate and honest feedback.
Maria's talents showed brilliantly when negotiations with potential buyers started. She combined her honesty, ethical approach and her negotiation skills to get us the best possible price.
Our house is really a magnificent one. Parting with it has been a very emotional and, we can easily say, very traumatic process. Maria deeply understood and respected this. At no time did she pressure us to accept offers. She respected our emotions in this regard, which swung from extreme to extreme as we realised that it is real and that our consent to sell and exchange contracts will seal the deal and the house which we loved will no more beours. Maria's attitude, understanding, and respect to our feelings have definitely distinguished her in our eyes. She is now not only an excellent Real Estate Agent, but more importantly a real friend.
We do believe that Marla is imparting respect and esteem to her profession which we are sure that its members will be thankful to her for it.

This letter is to record the experiences of my wife and self using Maria Selleck Properties to market the sale of our home in Aranda and the purchase of our new home in Bruce in the second quarter of 2009.
Although we had been planning a move to a home in a different suburb for some time, we weren't actively looking when we happened to see the home in Bruce that Maria subsequently sold us. Maria was well known to the writers as a well-respected sales agent around Canberra and we soon came to appreciate just how exceptional andcommitted she really is. What we also liked was that hers was a smaller business that could still offer a higher degree of personal service. Once we had decided we'd make the move, we had no hesitation asking Maria to sell our home in Aranda by tender and to act for us in purchasing the new home in Bruce.
Maria's advice about selling our Aranda home was practical and pitch-perfect and won our full confidence right from the start. She set and kept to the timeframes for preparing and selling the home and was scrupulous about keeping every commitment she made to us. Her sense of style and what the discerning buyer would look for certainly helped capture the best features of the house and also helped deliver the record price for the suburb she then delivered. We always felt we were in really good hands and willingly submitted to her firm direction in terms of what we needed to do to get the house ready for each exhibition.
Selling one's home is always a traumatic business and we too had some tense moments, but they were never about Maria. If we were to re-enter the housing market, we'd turn again to Maria for help, and that's perhaps the best recommendation we can give: We found Maria to be the consummate professional with all the right personal qualities, unfailingly charming, considerate, and steadfastly reliable. Most of all, we learned to depend on her exceptional and powerful negotiation skills to deliver the best possible sale price and that was indeed her greatest strength.
