Pearce

Pearce is a Canberra suburb in the district of Woden. It was named after the longest-serving Senator and longest-serving Minister in Australia’s federal history, Sir George Pearce.

Located in the suburb is Marist College, Melrose High School and Sacred Heart Primary School, and a neighbourhood oval.

Pearce lies next to the suburbs of Torrens, Mawson, Chifley and behind it is the Canberra nature park of Mount Taylor. It is bordered by Beasley St, Melrose and Athllon drives.
